The power of Being Human. This is what inspires me to sculpt. I am deeply passionate about integrating all of the aspects of myself that I have hidden from myself and judged as being unworthy, to live in Self Love, in this body and on this Earth. The excitement and the pain of waking up moves me to create images that remind me of Who And What I Really Am in this eternal dance of life. Simply because it feels blissfully good.
In my life I love to go to the depths of my experiences, this is really where I live and therefore where I sculpt from. I am seduced, through the feelings, thoughts, emotions and senses of my physicality by the unseen, ethereal realm of light and energy and its relationship to my physicality. Subtle and powerful, I hear it calling and singing to me all of the time.
On a basic, raw level, my process of sculpting is one of listening, seeing and responding to the momentum of the image that is revealed in my imagination that desires to be created. The medium that I currently use is metal. A significant amount of my work is intuitive, some of the imagery and symbols that come through don’t have an intellectual meaning that I could explain with words. Sometimes I’ll know the meaning before I begin a sculpture or it may be revealed during its creation what it symbolizes. What’s most important to me is the flowing presence of the source energy and the emotionality of what is being expressed and imbuing that into the piece. The images are the result of deep and clear communication with energies and frequencies from within our galaxy and other galaxies as well, spanning many dimensions, all supporting us in embracing ourselves within our own hearts, in true Unconditional Self Love.
I see and feel each of my works as a prayer, a portal, a transmission, a temple for the viewer to enter into and receive whatever aspects of themselves that they desire - An interactive experience on an energetic level between and through the field and consciousness of the sculpture and that of the individual viewing the sculpture. The exchange is an attunement of energies, a communion using images of form, patterns of light and organic ethereal matter
My art is my joyous service to our Earth and its process of unfolding and waking up to its Inherent Nature.
